Bruce Gunn

The Florida State University

Ivor S. Mitchell

The Florida State University

The Self-Actualizing Case Method (SACM) employs a participative man agement approach to provide trainees with the authority and responsibility for carrying out the case presentation, analysis, and peer evaluation. This teaching method gives trainees guidance in case analysis, while offering them a free rein to round out the development of all their problem-solving abilities, including Communication, Persuasion, Leadership, Synthesis, Analysis, and Creativity skills.
